KMC took an Innovative step with the launching ceremony of the first-ever official Podcast of KMC ‘Learning Minds Podcast’ on January 13, 2025 at Khyber Medical College Peshawar Pakistan. The event featured the presence of honorable faculty KMC and KTH. The event was graced the by the presence of Honorable Dean KMC and his address, highlighting its significance.
The podcast launch, spearheaded by its creator, Wahab Zia, student final year MBBS concluded the event. Wahab Zia presented innovative ideas for the platform and officially launched it on the KMC website and other platforms. The first episode was also launched on the website titled “Psychiatry, Behavior, and Research: A Journey of Excellence with Professor Dr. Muhammad Irfan”. The event marked a milestone in the college’s efforts to foster academic and creative endeavors.
The Learning Minds Podcast features engaging conversations with surgeons, residents and accomplished physicians who share their diverse educational experiences and motivations. This podcast will go on live on monthly basis on different podcast platforms.
Our dynamic team is led by our esteemed Chairperson Assoc. Dr. Iqbal Haider, followed by the pioneering creator Wahab Zia and co-creator Ahmed Abdullah (2nd Year MBBS). Among the team, the executive producers Ehtisham Wali (2nd Year MBBS), Noor-i-Rabia (3rd Year MBBS) and Wajahat Hanif (2nd Year MBBS) play a pivotal role followed by the Director Media and Graphics, Farah Afridi (2nd Year MBBS) and Muhammad Ahmed (4th Year MBBS) , Director Communications. The team is provided with invaluable knowledge and mentorship by the esteemed Faculty Advisors, Dr. Mohsin Shafi, Dr. Irum Sabir, Dr. Suleman Malik Elahi who have been contributing right from the start.
