The Department of Endocrinology is the new addition to the MTI Khyber Teaching Hospital’s specialty departments. The Department will be providing specialized patients care in the field of Diabetes Mellitus (Type 1, Type 2, Gestational Diabetes Mellitus & MODY), Obesity, Thyroid & Parathyroid Disorders, Pituitary Disorders, Growth Disorders. (Short Stature), Adrenal Disorder, Hirsutism/Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Infertility (Male/Female).
Apart from that, it will be a great platform and source for research work in Diabetes & Endocrine disorders. The Department of Endocrinology will provide opportunities for undergraduate students and postgraduate trainee doctors for learning Diabetes & Endocrine disorders.
