
HIDAYAH (هداية): Healthy Insights on Diabetes Awareness in Ramadan – Session 02
Successfully Conducted at MTI KTH Peshawar
The Endocrinology Division, MTI KTH, in collaboration with Research Cell KMC, PG Curriculum & Evaluation Committee KTH, and Department of Medical Education KMC, successfully organized Session 02 of HIDAYAH (هداية) on 8th February 2025 at the MTI KTH Auditorium.
This specialized workshop for nurses and paramedical staff focused on equipping them with essential skills to guide diabetic patients safely through fasting during Ramadan. Participants gained valuable insights into risk stratification, medication adjustments, nutrition, patient counseling, and monitoring hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia, and insulin adjustments in admitted patients to ensure optimal diabetes care. The event started with insights from Associate Dean Research Khyber Medical College Peshawar Professor Dr Iqbal Haider.
