Successful Conduct of HIDAYAH (هداية) – Session 03 at Khyber Medical College
The Endocrinology Division, MTI KTH Peshawar, in collaboration with Research Cell KMC, PG Curriculum & Evaluation Committee KTH, and Department of Medical Education KMC, successfully conducted Session 03 of HIDAYAH (هداية): Healthy Insights on Diabetes Awareness in Ramadan on Wednesday, 19th February 2025, at Patho 19 Hall, Khyber Medical College, Peshawar.
This session, exclusively designed for KMC undergraduate students, aimed to enhance their understanding of diabetes management during Ramadan and equip them with the knowledge to provide safe and effective guidance to patients.
The session commenced with opening remarks by Dr. Farooq Ahmed, Director, Department of Medical Education, KMC, who highlighted the importance of educating future healthcare professionals on fasting and diabetes.
The session was moderated by Dr. Gohar Ayub and Ms. Sundus Huma, ensuring an interactive and engaging discussion. Dr. Suleman Elahi Malik, Assistant Professor (Endocrinology & Diabetes), MTI KTH, delivered a comprehensive lecture.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from undergraduate students, reflecting their commitment to improving diabetes care.
