MIG-KMC organized a comprehensive workshop on Chest X-Ray interpretation, which was presented by esteemed medical professional, Dr. Zahid Ullah Marwat.
The workshop commenced promptly at 10:00 am, initiated by an introductory speech by Noor ul Harram
Following the opening remarks, Dr. Zahid Ullah Marwat delivered an extensive lecture elucidating the intricacies of X-Ray interpretation, emphasizing the diagnosis of various cardiopulmonary anomalies through the utilization of X-Ray imaging techniques.
Subsequently, the workshop progressed into an interactive activity segment. Participants were divided into groups, each of six students, with the objective of engaging them in hands-on practice. Guided by instructors, the groups were presented with different scenarios, requiring them to independently interpret and resolve the given situations, and then presenting their findings to the other attendees. Furthermore, a quiz was administered, overseen by Dr. Zahid Ullah Marwat.
To provide participants with a practical understanding, the workshop included a visit to the Radiology Department at Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH). During this visit, the students were provided with a comprehensive overview of the X-Ray procedures, equipment, positioning techniques, and fundamental principles.
Finally, the event drew to a close with the organizers delivering concluding remarks, expressing gratitude to all attendees for their participation and the successful completion of the workshop.
