General Guidelines for presenters:
Dress Code:
Presenters are expected to adhere to a professional dress code. Please ensure you are well-suited, clean, and presentable, reflecting a dignified and professional appearance.
Language:
Presentations must be delivered in English.
The Q&A session can be conducted in either English or Urdu, as per the preference of the participants.
Session Logistics:
Arrival: Arrive at least 30 minutes before your session begins to allow time for preparation and setup.
Presentation Equipment: Necessary tools, such as a clicker/pointer for changing slides, will be provided.
Poster Display: Boards and other required materials for poster display will be available.
Refreshments:
Refreshments will be provided to all the presenters.

Abstracts should be structured and limited to 300 words. They must include the study hypothesis, study type, materials and methods, results, a brief summary, and up to five references. Additionally, abstracts may contain up to two graphic attachments, such as tables, illustrations, or pictures.
Poster Size:
The poster should be 48 inches in height and 36 inches in width.
Format:
The poster must be a single page created using software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Visio, or Adobe Illustrator.
Note:
There is no requirement to fill the entire space allocated by conference organizers. Avoid enlarging your poster unnecessarily to match the given size. The sub-title text boxes (e.g., ‘Introduction’, ‘Aims’, ‘Methods’, ‘Results’, and ‘Conclusion’) can be adjusted vertically to accommodate varying amounts of content.

Name of the institution where the authors are enrolled

Must follow the Vancouver Style
Limited to a maximum of 5 references
Criteria for Participation:
1. Abstract Acceptance:
– Participation in the research poster presentation competition is contingent upon prior acceptance of the abstract.
2. Multiple Competitions:
A team cannot present the same research study in both verbal and poster competitions.
Teams with multiple research studies may participate in both competitions, presenting a different study in each.
3. Preliminary Results:
Preliminary results of a research study can be presented.
Presentation Duration:
Total time allotted: 12 minutes
Presentation: 7 minutes
Q & A: 5 minutes
Slide Preparation:
Limit the Number of Slides: Ensure you have an appropriate number of slides to fit within the 6-minute presentation. Too many slides can be distracting for the audience.
Minimize Text: Keep text concise to maintain the audience’s focus on your verbal presentation rather than reading from the slides.
Session Protocol:
Arrival: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of your session to allow for preparation and setup.
Equipment: A clicker/pointer will be provided for advancing slides during your presentation.
Slide Submission: Note that last-minute changes to your slides cannot be accommodated. Ensure your presentation is finalized and submitted as required prior to the session.
By adhering to these guidelines, you will help ensure a smooth and engaging presentation experience for both yourself and your audience.
